Attending a Chicago show from Wisconsin or flying in?
Tell dispatch the show, your hotel and your group size. We confirm the pickup time and quote upfront, in an SUV or a Sprinter.
Quick answer: Chicago’s big shows run at three venues: McCormick Place in the South Loop, the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont near O’Hare, and Navy Pier on the lakefront. The calendar below lists the next shows at each, with dates checked against organizer pages on October 23, 2026. Before you plan a ride, confirm your show’s building and gate, your flights and hotel, and where chauffeured vehicles may load. Groups should name one lead contact and share passenger counts, luggage or equipment, and every stop. Organizers can change dates and venues, so check the organizer’s page before you book.
Show weeks fill our schedule first. Book the vehicle early.
Tell us the show, dates, airport or hotel pickup, and group size. We send a pickup time and a quote.

These shows move thousands of visitors through O’Hare, Midway and the downtown hotels in a few days. Dates were checked against organizer pages on October 23, 2026. Which Venue Are You Attending?
The venue decides your route, your drop-off point and where a chauffeur can wait. Check your badge email or exhibitor manual for the building and gate before you finalize a pickup.
McCormick Place
McCormick Place has several buildings. The North and South buildings use 2301 South Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, the West building uses 2301 South Indiana Avenue, and Lakeside Center uses 2301 South DuSable Lake Shore Drive. Transport gates and loading maps vary by event and vehicle type. A rideshare pickup tip does not authorize chauffeur or charter loading, so confirm your event’s assigned gate with the organizer.
Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont
This venue sits in Rosemont near O’Hare, not downtown Chicago. The main circular drive handles taxi and rideshare drop-offs, but chauffeured vehicles and coaches may not be able to stage there. Rosemont is the shortest ride from O’Hare, and many guests stay at nearby hotels.
Navy Pier
Festival Hall hosts the exhibitions at Navy Pier, at 600 East Grand Avenue. Buses and motor coaches cannot park on the pier, and a vehicle waiting without a ready party may be asked to leave and return. Plan a drop-off and a set pickup time instead of an open-ended wait.
Getting to the Show From the Airport and From Wisconsin
Pick the airport by flights, hotel and baggage, not by distance alone. O’Hare is the natural choice for Rosemont shows, and Midway is often the shorter ride to McCormick Place. Wisconsin guests can skip the airport entirely and ride straight from a Milwaukee, Lake Geneva or Madison hotel to the venue.
| Route | Typical off-peak ride |
|---|---|
| O’Hare to Rosemont convention center | About 10 to 20 minutes |
| O’Hare to McCormick Place or Navy Pier | About 30 to 90 minutes, depending on traffic |
| Midway to McCormick Place | About 15 to 40 minutes |
| Downtown hotels to McCormick Place | About 15 to 30 minutes |
| Milwaukee hotels to Rosemont | About 1.5 hours |
| Milwaukee hotels to McCormick Place | About 1.75 to 2 hours |
| Lake Geneva hotels to Rosemont | About 1.25 hours |
| Madison hotels to McCormick Place | About 2.75 hours |
These are off-peak estimates. Show mornings, rush hour, weather and construction add time, so dispatch builds your pickup around the show’s opening and your flight. Our downtown Chicago to O’Hare timing guide and suburbs drive-time guide show how the ride changes by hour.
Prearranged chauffeurs use the approved commercial pickup areas at O’Hare and Midway. Collect your bags, contact dispatch, and we send your chauffeur’s details. Ask about our meet-and-greet service if you want a greeter at arrivals, and see the Chicago airport fees guide for charges that can appear on a quote.
Exhibitors and Attendees Plan Differently
| Traveler | What they need | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| Attendees | Airport to hotel, hotel to the show, evening dinners | SUV for one to six; Sprinter for a team |
| Exhibitors | Early setup access, samples, banners and small equipment, late teardown | Sprinter or van with a flexible pickup window |
| Executives and speakers | Fixed arrival times, quiet rides, one chauffeur through the day | Suburban or Escalade; hourly booking |
| Groups and delegations | One lead contact, staggered departures, a headcount that changes | Executive Sprinter, Sprinter or economy van |
Exhibitors should send the dimensions and number of cases or boxes when they book. Large freight and show booth materials belong with the organizer’s authorized logistics, while personal luggage and small samples fit in a vehicle. Tell dispatch what you carry so we pick the right vehicle.
Hotels, Shuttles and Private Chauffeurs
Some shows run shuttles between participating hotels and the venue, and registration does not always include one. Check the organizer’s hotel list and schedule. Near O’Hare, hotels such as the Hilton Chicago O’Hare Airport Hotel, Loews Chicago O’Hare and the Hyatt Regency O’Hare are close to the Rosemont venue. A private chauffeur fills the gaps a shuttle leaves: early flights, late dinners, groups that do not fit a schedule, and guests in hotels the show shuttle does not serve.
Our hotel car service guide covers pickups and drop-offs at Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Chicago hotels. Hotel names on this page identify locations only, and Milwaukee to O’Hare is not affiliated with any hotel or show named here.
Executives, Hourly Days and Groups
Show weeks are full of meetings between sessions. Book a chauffeur by the hour and the same vehicle stays with you from the hotel to the show floor, client dinners and the airport. Executives ride in a Chevrolet Suburban or Cadillac Escalade, which seats 6 with extra luggage room. Teams of up to 13 travel in an Executive Sprinter, and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter carries up to 15. Sprinter hourly bookings carry a 5-hour minimum, and dispatch can give you SUV hourly terms.
For details on each service, see our convention transportation service, chauffeur service, corporate transfers and group transportation. For private-jet arrivals, ask about our private jet and FBO car service. Rides that start inside Chicago are driven by City of Chicago-licensed chauffeurs through Pharaoh’s affiliate chauffeur network, where required and subject to availability.

How to Read a Convention Ride Quote
Convention quotes vary because shows change the trip. Ask for these items in writing before you pay.
| Confirm | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Pickup and drop-off points, including the venue gate | Loading rules differ by building and event |
| Vehicle type and passenger count | Luggage, equipment and headcount decide the size |
| What the price includes | Tolls, parking, airport charges and waiting time can differ |
| Waiting time and hourly minimums | Show days run long; Sprinter hourly bookings carry a 5-hour minimum |
| Who the operator is | Rides inside Chicago use City of Chicago-licensed chauffeurs through Pharaoh’s affiliate chauffeur network |
| Cancellation terms | See the cancellation policy |
A quote request is not a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed when you receive an accepted reservation with the itinerary, pickup points, vehicle, contact and charges.
Reserve Your Convention Ride in 3 Steps
- Send the details. The show and dates, your hotel or airport, group size and luggage or equipment, through the online booking form or by phone at (414) 387-6619.
- Get your upfront quote and pickup times. Dispatch confirms the vehicle, the price and the leave-by time for each trip.
- Ride with a chauffeur who stays on your schedule. Your chauffeur meets you at the hotel entrance or the airport pickup point and tracks your flight.
A rideshare app gives you the next available driver. A dedicated dispatch team gives you a fixed pickup time, a vehicle sized to your group and someone to call when a session runs long or a flight changes.
