Private jet landing in the Chicago area?
Send us the airport, the FBO name, the arrival time and your final stop. We confirm the vehicle and the pickup plan in writing.
Quick answer: A private jet usually lands at an FBO (fixed-base operator), not at an airline terminal. Book your car with the airport code, the exact FBO name and its street address, plus the aircraft’s expected arrival, a passenger contact, bags and the final destination. Landside pickup is the default; driving up to the aircraft needs authorization from the FBO and the airport. Get the vehicle, chauffeur, waiting terms and meeting instructions in writing before the flight lands. A request is not a confirmed booking until you receive the accepted reservation.
Private schedules change fast. Keep one team on the ground.
Our 24/7 dispatch adjusts your pickup when the aircraft moves. Tell us the arrival, the FBO and the party size.

Chicago-Area Airports and FBOs
Private aircraft can land at several airports around Chicago. These are the published FBO addresses we see most often. FBOs change facilities and entrances, so confirm the entrance and instructions with your flight department or the FBO before the flight.
| Airport | FBO | Published address |
|---|---|---|
| O’Hare (ORD) | Signature Aviation | 825 Patton Drive, Chicago, IL 60666 |
| Midway (MDW) | Signature Aviation | 5821 South Central Avenue, Chicago, IL 60638 |
| Midway (MDW) | Atlantic Aviation | 6150 South Laramie Avenue, Chicago, IL 60638 |
| Chicago Executive (PWK), Wheeling | Signature Aviation | 1100 South Milwaukee Avenue |
| Chicago Executive (PWK), Wheeling | Atlantic Aviation | 1011 South Wolf Road |
| Chicago Executive (PWK), Wheeling | Ascension Global Aviation | 1120 South Milwaukee Avenue |
| DuPage (DPA), West Chicago | DuPage Flight Center | 2700 International Drive, West Chicago, IL 60185 |
| Gary/Chicago International (GYY) | Gary Jet Center | 6101 Airport Road, Gary, IN 46406 |
- O’Hare. The FBO is not at the airline terminals, so a pickup follows the FBO’s own instructions. Read more on O’Hare airport limo service.
- Midway. There are two FBOs, so name the right one. Check for airfield construction notices near your flight date. See Midway airport limo service.
- Chicago Executive. The airport administration office is not an FBO, so do not send a chauffeur there.
- DuPage and Gary. Concierge suggestions and a separately booked chauffeur reservation are not the same arrangement. Tell us if the FBO is also arranging a car.
How an FBO Pickup Works
- Usual pickup. The chauffeur meets you at the FBO’s approved passenger entrance or designated vehicle area. Some FBOs bring bags to a reception area, and others involve a short walk from a secured ramp.
- Planeside pickup is not automatic. It can require airport credentials, an operator escort, security screening, insurance and permission from the FBO and the airport. Assume landside unless access is authorized in writing.
- Meet-and-greet. Ask where the greeting happens and who identifies the traveler. A discreet coordinator handoff works well for executives. See our meet-and-greet service.
- Waiting area changes. If the FBO directs the chauffeur to another waiting area, the chauffeur follows those instructions.
Privacy and Security
- Share only the flight and passenger details the ground team needs.
- Confirm with the passenger or flight department before sharing a tail number or arrival updates.
- Do not forward confidential itineraries to unrelated drivers or group chats.
- A tail number does not guarantee live tracking or ramp access.
Executive and Multi-Stop Private Travel
Private flights often start a working day: a DuPage arrival, meetings in Oak Brook and the Loop, then a Chicago Executive departure. Book that as an hourly chauffeur with the real hours, stops and waiting rules. An hourly booking does not mean standing at a busy downtown curb without limit, so plan drop-offs and pickups. Sprinter hourly bookings carry a 5-hour minimum, and dispatch can give you SUV hourly terms.
Operators and flight departments move private schedules more flexibly than airlines, so have them send updates directly to your coordinator. See our chauffeur service and corporate transfers, and our roadshow day guide for planning a multi-stop day.
Landing soon? Reserve the ground side now.
Send the FBO, the arrival and the party size. We confirm the vehicle and the pickup plan.
Who Chooses the Airport, Diversions and International Arrivals
| Situation | What to know |
|---|---|
| Choosing the airport | The aircraft operator picks the airfield. A car reservation does not decide where the plane lands. |
| Fastest airport | No airport is always fastest. Traffic, weather, construction and tolls change the ride. |
| Diversion, such as ORD to PWK | The pickup city, address and vehicle may change, so tell dispatch right away. The booking may need to be reconfirmed. |
| International arrival | Customs and immigration are handled by the authorities and the operator. A ground provider cannot authorize entry, so final meeting instructions come after processing. |
Private Flights and Wisconsin Destinations
Many of our private-jet riders connect Chicago-area FBOs with Wisconsin: Milwaukee, Brookfield, Lake Geneva and beyond. We pick up in Wisconsin for a departing flight and drive Chicago arrivals home, both ways. Private aircraft report times come from the aircraft operator, not airline baggage and security deadlines, so confirm the time with the flight department. Ride times are estimates, not guarantees. See our long-distance limo service and the Milwaukee to Chicago limo route.
Vehicles for Private Jet Passengers
| Party | Vehicle |
|---|---|
| One to six passengers | Chevrolet Suburban or Cadillac Escalade |
| A team of up to 13 | Executive Sprinter |
| A larger party of up to 15 | Mercedes-Benz Sprinter |
Vehicle choice depends on passengers and luggage, not aircraft size. Tell us about child seats, mobility equipment, garment bags, fragile samples and security-sensitive items. Large vehicles may not fit every FBO’s access road or valet area, so tell dispatch the FBO when you pick a Sprinter. See the fleet.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an FBO?
An FBO, or fixed-base operator, is the private aviation facility that handles fueling, passenger reception and ground support for private aircraft.
Is O’Hare’s FBO at Terminal 5?
No. The O’Hare FBO is Signature Aviation at 825 Patton Drive, not an airline terminal. Confirm the entrance with the FBO or your flight department.
How many FBOs does Midway have?
Midway has two: Signature Aviation and Atlantic Aviation. Tell us which one your aircraft uses.
Which FBOs operate at Chicago Executive Airport?
Signature Aviation, Atlantic Aviation and Ascension Global Aviation operate at Chicago Executive in Wheeling. The airport office is not an FBO.
Can a chauffeur drive up to the aircraft?
Not by default. Planeside access must be authorized by the FBO and the airport, so assume a landside pickup unless you have it in writing.
Can an assistant book for a traveler who isn’t there?
Yes. Give us the assistant’s contact, the traveler’s contact and the trip details, and we confirm with whoever you name.
Can dispatch track every private jet?
No. Tracking can be limited, and estimates change. The aircraft operator or flight department should send updates.
Do you offer Chicago-only rides?
Yes, with City of Chicago-licensed chauffeurs through Pharaoh’s affiliate chauffeur network, subject to availability and review.
What if the aircraft diverts?
Call dispatch at (414) 387-6619 right away. The pickup address and vehicle may change, and we reconfirm the price and instructions.
Can you pick up at DuPage or Gary?
Yes. Send the FBO name and address, and tell us if the FBO is also arranging a car so the two bookings do not overlap.
How is a private jet ride priced?
By airport and FBO, destination, vehicle, passenger needs, stops, hours and waiting. We quote the full itinerary in writing.
What confirms my booking?
A request does not confirm a vehicle. You are confirmed when you receive the accepted reservation with the itinerary, vehicle, contact and charges.
Your plane is booked. Book the car to match.
Give our dispatch team the FBO, arrival and party. We confirm the vehicle and quote the ride. Available 24/7.
